ORDINANCES/RESOLUTIONS

Effective October 16, 2025, requests for building permits must be presented to the Town Board prior to applying to the Building Inspector for a permit.  In accordance with Ordinance 2025-03 (“Building Permit Requirements”), the Applicant must obtain AUTHORIZATION FOR BUILDING INSPECTOR TO ISSUE BUILDING PERMIT (the application for which is attached to the Ordinance and on the “permit” page).  Such an Authorization is needed for any structure (new or modification to existing structure) that occupies any area of land surface; for example, a house addition, new barn, shed or shelter, pool.  An Authorization is not needed for work such as an interior remodel, residing, electrical (but which still need a permit from the building inspector).
